Music has been a lifelong passion for Daiga. Originally from Latvia where she received her musical education from the Jazeps Medins College, Daiga immigrated to Canada with her family in 2011. She was quickly recognized as an artist of impeccable skill and musicality within the Calgary community, performing frequently at weddings, funerals, senior centres, and for other professional events. Over time, this pursuit developed into a overwhelming desire to convey the transformative powers of art to wider audiences; Daiga has appeared onstage internationally with acclaimed concerts for the Latvian Society in Ontario and Michigan that featured a wide variety of both classical and popular selections. She was also selected to perform for the Latvian Ambassador to Canada during the 100-year Independence celebrations in 2018.

Throughout the past 5 years, Daiga has built a network of regular collaborations with a variety of experienced musicians around Alberta and established longstanding partnerships with organizations such as the Calgary Diocese, various cultural institutions, the Fairmont Palliser, and other local venues.

Daiga has established herself as a musical courier of impeccable quality, professionalism, and reliability. She continues to present a vast repertoire of music tailored specially to each event, delivering consistently powerful and memorable performances that perfectly capture the ambience of any moment.
